Quinlan Commencement Watch Party

We invite the Quinlan Class of 2021 and the Quinlan community to watch the Quinlan Commencement Ceremony with us on Thursday, May 13 at 11 a.m. Central. We’ll hear from Associate Deans Susan Ries and Pamela McCoy before diving into our virtual ceremony. Students will be emailed the link to register soon.
Interact with us on social media as we celebrate your successes and welcome you to the Quinlan alumni community! Don’t forget to tag @LoyolaQuinlan and #GoForthLUC when you post your Commencement photos on social, as we'll share our favorites on Instagram, Twitter, Facebook. We'll also share ceremony highlights on our social channels.
If you can't watch the ceremony at 11 a.m. with us, the ceremony will be available starting at 8 a.m. Central on May 13 and you can watch at your convenience.

The Celebration and Gratitude Reception is an opportunity for the staff of the School of Continuing and Processional Studies to recognize our 2020/2021 graduates and to honor all the alumni from the School of Continuing and Professional Studies. During Commencement Week, the School of Continuing and Professional Studies will share a student showcase that illustrates the incredible journey of this year's graduates during today's extraordinary circumstances. The showcase will encapsulate our students' daily life - balancing work, school, responsibilities, and chores - all in the backdrop of the pandemic. Virtual School of Environmental Sustainability Student Celebration

Join us as we celebrate our graduating School of Environmental Sustainability undergraduate and graduate students! All students and families are welcome. We will present the SES awards, as well as recognize students graduating with Loyola and SES laudatory honors. The Zoom link will be provided in advance and the room will open at 5:50 p.m. Festivities begin at 6 p.m. No registration is required. The Zoom link will be provided via email to all students.

Program Specific Acknowledgements
Since we know that many of our students have built strong relationships within their programs and departments during their time at Loyola, The Graduate School has encouraged individual departments to acknowledge their graduates on smaller scale. Students should be in touch with their Graduate Program Director to learn about any plans that have been made for virtual gatherings.
In lieu of our traditional Graduate School reception to recognize graduates, and in recognition of our invited commencement speaker, Jarrett Adams, JD, all graduates will receive an electronic copy of his book Redeeming Justice, due out this Summer.
Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health
Evening of Excellence

Parkinson students completing a Master of Public Health and/or a Master of Science degree will share their capstone projects, engage in scholarly discourse, and learn from fellow students and faculty. The Evening of Excellence provides an opportunity for students to celebrate their scholarly accomplishments and an interdisciplinary group of faculty and students.

Celebration of the Magis

The Parkinson School of Health Sciences and Public Health acknowledges outstanding Undergraduate Exercise Science, Public Health and Healthcare Administration students with its annual Magis Awards. Magis is a Latin word meaning "more" or "greater" and is related to the phrase "ad majorem Dei gloriam", the motto of the Society of Jesus and Loyola University Chicago. The awards recognize how honorees are always striving to do better and truly achieve Magis. Family and friends are welcome to celebrate students' accomplishments.

2021 Legacy Celebration

Join the Department of Student Diversity and Multicultural Affairs (SDMA) for the 13th annual Legacy Celebration commemorating Loyola University Chicago's Class of 2020 and 2021 undergraduate, graduate, and professional students who identify as first generation, scholars of color, and/or members of the lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, queer/questioning, intersex, and asexual (LGBTQIA) community.
